Welfare Ministry

we are the ministry of love
The welfare ministry is the ministry of love. It is that love that makes the members to subject themselves to the position of servanthood in the house of God. The ministry is charged with the responsibility of visiting the sick, the bereaved, and members who have newborn babies. The welfare ministry coordinates the hospitality services of the fellowship such as providing entertainment during its programs, organizing the anniversary picnic and hosting visiting priests who are officiating in fellowship programs as well as helping with fund raising activities of God is Love Fellowship.
The welfare ministry brings to the attention of the leadership the individual needs of the members with a view to providing help for such members. The ministry consists of men and women who are kindhearted, compassionate humble and are able to donate their time and resources for the good of the fellowship. The position of the welfare ministry can be related to the 7-man committee of the early church in Acts 6:1-7 and the actions of Christ as recorded in the following Gospels: Jn. 6:1-14, Mk. 8:1-10, Mat. 15:32-39. The welfare of the congregation is an important factor in their spiritual growth.

The Children’s Ministry is a Child centered vibrant part of God is Love prayer group/fellowship in St Albert Catholic Church. We are highly relational, very gospel focused and discipleship driven. We strive to teach the love of God to all fellowship children from ages 2 to 17, and facilitate a personal relationship with Jesus, knowing how much He loves them, and what the Bible teaches. In essence, we try to connect children to God by cultivating a heart-transforming personal faith in Jesus Christ through biblically sound teaching and relational discipleship.
We partner with families to arrange several activities for the children throughout the year to enable them to put their faith into practice and to help them mature in following Christ.
We meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month during fellowship.
