Prayer Ministry

“IF PRAYER CAN’T DO IT, THEN IT CAN NOT BE DONE”

The God is Love prayer ministry exists to pray and encourage people to connect to Jesus Christ through prayer. God is Love intercessors are passionate about empowering everyone that is willing, with the tools of effective praying. The ministry is committed to serve the fellowship by praying fervently for our community, members, leaders, families, world, and persons who so desire. The vision of the prayer ministry is that every person will be blessed, their prayer lives will be positively impacted, and souls will be won for Jesus Christ. Colossians 4:2 – Pray that the church would devote itself to prayer. Acts 4:12 – Pray that the church will boldly share Jesus as the only hope.

The goals of the prayer ministry include but not limited to the following: Study the scriptures and obey the Holy Spirit to pray to God without ceasing, both individually and jointly. Encourage the filling of the Holy Spirit for power, praising God and witnessing to Jesus. Receive fellowship wide prayer requests and intercede for members and help every member to develop “a culture of prayer” where prayer becomes a necessity and a priority in their daily lives. Encourage ministry leaders to effectively promote prayer as an integral part of the success of any ministry.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16) Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (Thessalonians 5:16–18)

The Children’s Ministry is a Child centered vibrant part of God is Love prayer group/fellowship in St Albert Catholic Church. We are highly relational, very gospel focused and discipleship driven. We strive to teach the love of God to all fellowship children from ages 2 to 17, and facilitate a personal relationship with Jesus, knowing how much He loves them, and what the Bible teaches. In essence, we try to connect children to God by cultivating a heart-transforming personal faith in Jesus Christ through biblically sound teaching and relational discipleship.

We partner with families to arrange several activities for the children throughout the year to enable them to put their faith into practice and to help them mature in following Christ.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month during fellowship.
