Usher Ministry

Welcome to the usher ministry

We are the usher ministry of God is Love Catholic Charismatic Renewal. OUR MISSION is to keep the light of love burning in our fellowship with love and action.

We are visibly present at every fellowship, and every God is Love activities with the primary goal of serving the needs of the people.

Ushers in the tabernacle and temple were called doorkeepers. The psalmist understood the importance of ushers when he said, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked” (Psalm 84:10).

Our RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to directing the fellowship participants to their seat position, welcoming our new convert to the house of God, monitor and control activities while in the fellowship to avoid distractions, and ensure that the House of God is clean before and after the fellowship.

Get Started learning a new Skill

The Children’s Ministry is a Child centered vibrant part of God is Love prayer group/fellowship in St Albert Catholic Church. We are highly relational, very gospel focused and discipleship driven. We strive to teach the love of God to all fellowship children from ages 2 to 17, and facilitate a personal relationship with Jesus, knowing how much He loves them, and what the Bible teaches. In essence, we try to connect children to God by cultivating a heart-transforming personal faith in Jesus Christ through biblically sound teaching and relational discipleship.

We partner with families to arrange several activities for the children throughout the year to enable them to put their faith into practice and to help them mature in following Christ.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month during fellowship.
